Meet...Jane Doe

To be fair, the Monkey's new friend doesn't have a name yet, because I originally named her something that I thought suited well, and then realised that it is also one of my favourite girl's names. Yes, it may never be an issue but I suddenly decided that I wasn't going to waste the name on a doll, no matter how cute and cozy she is. So the naming process is continuing.

'Jane' was a really fun softie to make, and easier than both Oliver and Digby, although I obviously had a huge issue with her arms. Oops. Ah well, aren't we all somewhat asymmetrical anyway?

I was surpemely scared of the next step which was painting on fabric - something I have never done. Luckily it was very simple.
